Data security and access
Effective October 18, 2026
You stay in control of your books. This page explains how access works and how we handle what we see.
You invite us. We never ask for your password.
We work in your QuickBooks Online company as an accountant user. You send the invitation, and you can remove it at any time. We do not ask for your QuickBooks login, and we do not ask for your bank login. See Intuit’s guide to managing accountant users (opens in a new tab).
Only what the work requires
We use the access you grant to do the work you engaged us for. We do not use your information for any other purpose, and we do not sell it.
A traceable record
QuickBooks keeps an audit log of changes made in your company. Corrections we make are documented and trace to the underlying transactions, so you can see what changed and why.
Agreements and payments
Engagement agreements are signed through an electronic signature service, and payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
When we finish
When the work ends, you can remove our accountant access at any time. We retain our working records for the period required by professional and legal obligations, as described in our Privacy Policy.
